Signal is a virtual reality experience using storytelling to explore mystery, nostalgia, and evolving technology. Combining print and VR, it challenges biased perceptions of VR through cross-reality asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay with an early-80s aesthetic. Within the story, Universe Amalgamation Systems (UAS) makes parallel universes accessible to all lifeforms, and the player group Monarch must take down a corrupt faction within it.
